In our Intro to Teaching and Learning Class we talked about all the different things we can do with our hands and discussed prompting kids with questions like these at the beginning of class to get them thinking.

Then we folded fortune tellers and were prompted to make a game for kids out of them.

In my game, the kids can start off by making fortune tellers and making them into monsters of their choice (with some sort of teeth).
How to Play:
1) Once those are finished, a kid with a fortune teller will open and close the fortune teller.
They will ask a friend to try to not blink until they want them to stop.
Once the friend blinks and the creature creator kid stops, the creature creator will ask the friend to pick one of the triangular sides inside the little monsters mouth.
2) The creature creator will count the teeth in there and open and close the fortune teller the same number of times as there are number of teeth on that side.
The creature creator will ask the friend to pick a final triangular side in the monsters mouth.
3) The creature creator will open up the fortune teller and if they find something the monster already ate in there, then the monster is full and won't want to eat the friend (how you win).
If a side is opened that shows the monster has an empty stomach, its hungry and wants to eat them! (how you lose)
